My job as a facilitator is to help monitor, regulate and energize the evolving dynamics of a strategic planning meeting.  I specifically focus on managing the energy of the group, as well as the way information is exchanged and how it's collected for internal analysis.  My value as a facilitator is further supported by:

I have extensive experience in the design and management of on-site and off-site teambuilding events that support the direction and objectives set by Senior Management.  I provide a turnkey product that includes web surveys, diagnostic tools, workshop agenda design, coordination meetings with support staff, indoor and outdoor activities and coordination with providers and venue managers (when required). The sessions' duration varies from 4 hours to 3 days and may be on-or-off site.
 
Core Aspects of Building a Team Performance Experience

Client Focus: Clarification of the expectations, values and priorities of those who receive the output of the team's work, inside and outside of the organization.  It also involves ensuring that the expectations shape the requirements for the products and product solutions provided.

Team Direction: Identification of the unique contribution of the team, from its broadest purposes to its specific actions and activities.  It shows the fit of the team's and organization's purposes. It's the mechanism that focuses actions purposefully toward team goals.  It helps set priorities that are essential to assigning resources and creates commitment and alignment to the team's purpose.

Understanding and Trust: Through understanding, team members come to see each other as unique individuals and gauge the strength that comes from their diversity. They create a dynamic environment in which the resulting synergy helps them see a situation, an opportunity or a problem from different perspectives.  They use their talents well and they coach others to be successful.  They understand the culture of the organization and how to use the systems and informal political networks to achieve team goals.

Commitments: One of the essential aspects of building a High Performance Team is the shared understanding of how to attain and maintain their Peak Performance, both individually and as a team.  Once the team members start sharing the language of Peak Performance and they support each other in their individual training, the entire team effort flourishes. 

 


Through Creative Development, I help you determine what resources your may need to develop new concepts and solutions while meeting the demands of the projects and opportunities you face.  Creative development requires looking for alternatives to established procedures (thinking "out of the box") to create new ways of defining performance criteria.

 

Effective creative development yields an outcome that it is both new and useful; that it is both unique and meets specific performance requirements. I apply the process to strategic planning, project planning, new product development, process redesign, marketing, graphic and new media design, e-commerce, operational problem solving and logistics planning.

 

My experience in creative development covers a diverse spectrum, including marketing and communications, new media, e-commerce, Web-based training, sports marketing and promotions, interactive sales tools, experience-based learning and highly complex events.

 

I organize retreats for high-level decision makers in select locations where the environment favors concentration and effectiveness.  The typical meeting lasts 2 days.  I manage all aspects of the process in conjunction with the organization's staff and the venue. Often times, I take responsibility for the reporting, feedback analysis and final documentation of the output of the event.
