Prof. Enrique Pisani has coached First League volleyball teams in Argentina, Italy and Belgium, as well as the Belgian National Team.

He is a Certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst – Integrated Movement Studies Institute Intensive Program IMS, University of Utah (USA) and a Certified Body-Mind Centering Practitioner (School of BMC, USA).

He currently advises sports and wellness trainers, as well as business leaders on the impact of efficient movement on behavior and the impact of their personal presence.

Enrique Pisani lives in Belgium and Spain and speaks English, French, Spanish and Italian.

Sports: Specialized Movement Analysis for Peak Performance

Enrique Pisani can analyze your sport movement and improve your performance, in addition to making recommendations to train, sustain and maximize it according to the demands of your specific sport.

Human Movement Fundamentals is an approach to sports movement that deals with describing, understanding and generating movement.

  1. Describing your movement involves identifying the specific factors of your technical (track and field, swimming), mechanical (motorsports, cycling), ball (racquetsports, volley, soccer, basketball, football, etc.), combat (boxing, martial arts, wrestling) or mixed sports.

  2. Understanding your movement requires observing where the movement begins, how it travels through the body, the main action and the follow through. This area is called Phrasing. The Patterns of Total Body Connectivity involve how the different body parts (center, tail bone, head, upper and lower limbs) are organised. Effort deals with the texture and dynamics of the movement, how to modulate personal space and general space binding (what shapes the body adopts to perform the task, how to transition from one to the other).

  3. Generating means which movements I can propose to you to sense a particular body connection to improve your performance. In this area, I work with you and your coach to explore your description of your action or a specific technique, in your own language. I translate your feedback into movement language and generate movements or exercises.
