His book Blase to Ablaze was not written from theory—it was forged in the midst of relentless adversity. After losing his job of nearly 30 years, Tim faced a cascade of life-altering events: profound personal losses, serious injuries, family illness, and ultimately, the necessity for major open-heart surgery.
What began as a reflection on career transition evolved into a far more urgent and universal inquiry: How do we sustain our passion for living when we are simply trying to survive?
Through honesty, humor, and hard-earned wisdom, Tim discovered that resilience is not just endurance—it is transformation. His M5 Process of Self-Discovery offers a pathway to reigniting purpose, even when circumstances feel overwhelming. It is a framework not just for recovery, but for renewal—for moving from survival mode back into a life that feels fully alive.

About Our Guest Speaker:
Tim Buwick is a business leader, speaker, author, emcee, moderator, content creator, professional coach and event announcer at The Tim Buwick Company. He is the author of the book, Blasé 2 Ablaze – How to Turn your Blahs into Ahhs to Ignite Passion & Purpose. A painful series of personal and professional setbacks motivated him to create the M5 Method of Self-Discovery, a systematic process to help people rise above any obstacle.
Tim has spoken to countless audiences around the world during his 40-year professional career in television, radio, sales, marketing, and promotions. He has interviewed and emceed events featuring some of sports brightest stars such as Roger Federer, two-time NBA Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry, cultural icon Billie Jean King and tennis stars such as John McEnroe and Pete Sampras. With skills honed as a former television anchorman and radio host, his authentic and entertaining style connects with his audience, whether as a keynote speaker, emcee, interviewer, content producer, announcer or facilitator.
He spent nearly 30 years working for Wilson Sporting Goods, where he rose to become the U.S. Promotions Director for Racquet Sports. In this capacity, Tim led Wilson’s Advisory Staff, World Demo Tour and Junior Sponsorship programs. He was responsible for negotiating and activating sponsorship contracts with such organizations as the United States Tennis Association and the NCAA.
In addition to his work at The Tim Buwick Company, he is also the Director of Business Development for the Racquet Sports Professionals Association (RSPA), where he is responsible for creating sponsorships, endorsements, and partnerships for the organization. Tim is a certified racquet sports professional himself, teaching countless people the joys of playing tennis, pickleball, and platform tennis. He has produced a series of YouTube teaching videos that has garnered well over half a million views.
