DESCRIPTION:

Since 2009, TheSircle Executive Club founded by Carlos Salum has gathered people who think for a living around a table worth sitting at. This evening puts that tradition in a working room and adds a scoreboard to it.

The night takes one idea from Salum’s books, Foresight Under Pressure, From Fog to Focus, Speak.Align.Become, TheSircle: a Theater of Purpose, and The Glass is Full and a Half, and puts it to work instead of describing it. Guests read nothing beforehand. A short briefing starts everyone level, a single provocation opens the room, then small groups run the exercise underneath the book: a Strategic Constraint Flip, or a Clarity Under Pressure drill, applied to a real situation somebody at the table is carrying.

The last stretch is the Challenge. Each group presents the sharpest reframe it produced, in two minutes, with no slides. The room votes, and the winning group takes lunch or dinner with Carlos, hosted, at a date of their choosing. The tone is deliberately informal, which is where the least defensive thinking always happens.
